    1. Server Log Files

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Since cookies are stored on your device, you have full control over their use. You can restrict or disable the storage of cookies or delete cookies that have already been stored via your browser settings. Please note that this may mean that not all functions of the website can be used to their full extent.

Data processing serves the purpose of analyzing this website and its visitors as well as for marketing and advertising purposes. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use the information obtained to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website and internet usage to the website operator. The following information may be collected, among other things: IP address, date and time of page access, click path, information about the browser and device you use, pages visited, referrer URL (the website from which you accessed our website), location data and purchasing activities. Google reCAPTCHA

We use the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "Google") on our website. In this context, Google acts as a processor on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

Your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in distinguishing genuine users from bots and other automated access in order to ensure the security of our website and services. The function displays videos hosted on YouTube in an iframe on the website. The "Enhanced Privacy Mode" option is activated. As a result, YouTube does not store information about website visitors until they watch a video. Only when you watch a video is information transmitted to YouTube and stored there. Your data may be transferred to the USA. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for the USA, the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework (TADPF). YouTube has certified itself under the TADPF and has therefore committed to complying with European data protection principles.

The function enables the visual display of geographical information and interactive maps. When pages containing embedded Google Maps are accessed, Google also collects, processes and uses data relating to visitors to these websites.

Your data may also be transferred to the USA. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for the USA, the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework (TADPF). Google has certified itself under the TADPF and has therefore committed to complying with European data protection principles.

The use of cookies or comparable technologies takes place with your consent on the basis of Section 25 (1) sentence 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Your personal data is processed with your consent on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal.

Further information on the collection and use of data by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en. The Google Privacy Center also allows you to change your settings in order to manage and protect the data processed by Google.

Below we inform you about how your personal data is processed.

    1. Contact (Email, Contact Form)

Initial Contact by the Customer via Email

If you contact us by email on your own initiative for business purposes, we collect your personal data (name, email address, message text) only to the extent provided by you. The purpose of the data processing is to process and respond to your inquiry.

If the contact serves to carry out pre-contractual measures (e.g. consultation regarding an intended purchase, preparation of an offer) or relates to a contract already concluded between you and us, this data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

If contact is made for other reasons, this data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in processing and responding to your inquiry. In this case, you have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

We use your email address only to process your inquiry. Your data will subsequently be deleted in compliance with statutory retention periods unless you have consented to further processing and use.

Collection and Processing When Using the Contact Form

When you use the contact form, we collect your personal data (name, email address, message text) only to the extent provided by you. The purpose of the data processing is to contact you.

We process and store your data for as long as necessary to achieve the respective purpose and to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations. The duration for which your data is stored depends primarily on the content of your inquiry.

    2. Applications

When you use the application form, we collect your personal data only to the extent provided by you. This includes your contact details (e.g. name, email address, telephone number), information about your professional qualifications and education, information about professional training and job-specific supporting documents.

The purpose of data processing is to contact you and to make a decision regarding the establishment of an employment relationship with you. Providing this data is necessary in order to carry out the application process. Your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 (1) BDSG for the implementation of pre-contractual measures (the application process as preparation for an employment contract).

If you have given us consent to process personal data for inclusion in our applicant pool, for example by selecting a checkbox, the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal.

If special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 (1) GDPR are requested from applicants during the application process, such as information regarding the degree of severe disability, this is carried out on the basis of Art. 9 (2) lit. b GDPR so that we can exercise the rights arising from employment law and social security and social protection law and fulfill our corresponding obligations.

We process and store your personal data for as long as necessary to make a decision regarding your application. Your data will subsequently be deleted after six months at the latest unless you have consented to further processing and use. If the application process results in an employment relationship, the data provided will continue to be processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 (1) BDSG for the purposes of carrying out the employment relationship and will subsequently be transferred to the personnel file.

    3. Orders / Placement of Orders

If you order goods from us or place an order with us, we collect and process your personal data (name, email address, other contact details and content relating to the order) for the performance and fulfillment of the contract on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

We process and store your data for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose or carry out the order. Due to existing statutory, tax and commercial retention periods, we therefore store your data for up to 10 years from the date the order is placed. The data will be deleted after these periods have expired.

    4. Marketing Communications (Information Letters, Newsletter)

Independently of contract processing, we use your email address exclusively for our own advertising purposes to send newsletters, provided that you have expressly consented to this. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal. To unsubscribe, you can use the corresponding link in the newsletter or send us a message at newsletter@htg-europe.com. Your email address will then be removed from the mailing list.

We process and store your data for as long as necessary to achieve the respective purpose. As a rule, we therefore store your data for as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter or until you withdraw your registration.

    5. Customer Satisfaction Survey

For the purpose of conducting our customer satisfaction surveys, we contact you by email and provide you with the survey link.

The personal data processed as part of the email communication (in particular your email address) is used exclusively for the purpose of inviting you to participate in the survey. The responses you provide as part of the survey are collected strictly separately from your contact details and evaluated completely anonymously. From a technical perspective, it is not possible at any time to associate the survey results with you personally.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in quality assurance, customer satisfaction and the optimization of our services.

    6. Presence on Social Networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

We maintain a presence on social networks in order to communicate with users active on these platforms and to provide information about our services.

Please note that when using these platforms, we are regularly jointly responsible with the respective platform operators for data processing within the meaning of data protection law (Art. 26 GDPR). Although we use the platforms for communication, primary responsibility for the technical infrastructure and extensive data processing (e.g. the creation of user profiles for advertising purposes) lies with the platform operators themselves. We have only limited influence over processing by the platform operators.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in effective communication with users and the contemporary presentation of our company to the public. Where users are asked by the respective platform operators to consent to data processing, processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.

Further information on joint controllership can be found in the respective platform agreements:
